New point with old bones

I’m starting to get this with horizontal punch made from old Stelars sea cow bones. They are extinct thanks to Russian sailors!!! Point is obsidian. I tied two dowels together, then tied bone onto top of the two dowels. Acts like a groove to hold bone steady. Instead of a Kelly Strap I use a Richardson Rope around punch and top of leg!!!!
