Here are four browbands that I've just completed for a client in Wyoming who is making Northern Plains split horn bonnets. They are all rendered on braintan using linen thread with a mix of 12/0 and 13/0 Czechs and 4/0 Italians. The yellow one is based on a quilled browband that has the same open boxes. Quirky, but a nice look. The yellow isn't actually quite as lemony as it appears in this photo (it's the same yellow that I used on a pair of fully beaded Sioux style moccasins that I recently posted. It's a really great, old Italian color).

Very nicely done as always. Love that yellow, that's a really great looking color. It's not all that easy to get nice yellows and there are some that look good under natural light but look really weird under tungsten light.
