In 2015 we moved to the Peoria, Illinois area to be near our grand-kids. I try to take them with me on hikes and exploring whenever I can. I think it is important to pass along some what I have learned and what I love. A few photos from some of our outings.

Thanks for everything that you're passing on to them.  Their impressions of interesting details and experiences while having fun in wild places will long be remembered.

That is great that you are taking the young ones along on your adventures! From the pics I'm guessing they are having a lot of fun too. Passing along some of what you know is priceless. It may spark an interest in them to learn even more on their own.

Harold bring the family to Dickson Mounds Museum 6.7 13,14 of Oct We have a rondevous over those two weekends, There is a possibility that there will be canoe rides on the Emiquon Lake, Have been doing this event for over 20  years now.
