Pacific needs to go inside every time or kick to Williams for mid-range. Don't need missed 3's now!

That was a very ugly and boring last couple of minutes. It took so long. Rip Van Winkle where you at?!
I like how Pacific is playing under control and they look calmer out there compared to earlier in the season, excluding the last few. I don't like the poor shots, don't like how I think they should have kept going inside more. The 3 by Roberto was nice though with a few minutes go to go. Just a few too many lapses on both ends of the floor. We are getting better though. But watch that stretch when Townes was getting inside, Tripp made one I think. They needed to keep doing that. Why wasn't Reynolds in the game more? Why wasn't the team getting the ball into the lane or short kickouts when Davis got in foul trouble?
Pacific had a stretch when they missed a few gimmies and the ball rolled out. Too bad
The game was within reach but they never took control and then started fouling. Small, dude you need to play better. Don't let the shot clock run down like that. There is no reason for it. Then he picks up an obvious charge and was lucky a second one wasn't called. I don't know if he is thinking too much or what. I know he needs some better scorers and slasher types, but he needs to adjust his game and get his head out of the sand. The game was there for the taking but did anyone really feel like they would win? It just never felt like it. Pick up the play!  Davis bent but did not break, they are still the better team but I think Pacific has more upside and will be the better team as the season progresses.

Even though the Tigers were close all game long, it seemed like they were never really in it.  Their shooting percentages indicate that.  Too bad.  They missed some close range, point blank, shots.
Be a fan!  I'll see 'em in Laramie.  Ahrummmmnnnnn

We were great from the line tonight which I thought would be the key to the game but instead it was Davis dictating pace that killed us.  You've got it right, as weird as it is to say Davis is just a better team than us at this point.

We're shooting 35% from 3 on the season, we just don't have a guy that can light it up from outside and that's going to cost us games throughout the year.    Given the makeup of this team we shouldn't be shooting 21 3's.  A couple of better possesions or additional fouls drawn and that game is ours but instead 14 possessions go wasted on missed 3's.

First off, good game for an away effort. The Tigers fought hard, keep being aggressive and made some shots down the line to keep the game close. They should also look at the stats, Pacific did not really shoot that bad, Aggie stats people were counting shot attempts when a person was fouled. That is totally incorrect. Take a look back a the feed.

Tripp did not play well today and fouled out, Gallinat always did a notch to get on the board. Reynolds did not get going tonite, Townes was stellar, Williams had his moments, played a better defensive game. Small was aggressive, might of not shot it well, but still got the team solid numbers to keep the game close. This team is improving each and every game, we will be tough in conference, all signs show that. Have some hope, I do. The Tigers will be tough to deal with by league, if they all return next year, Top 3. I said it.

I saw the first half and missed most to the 2nd half....but the stat's say we were 4-13 on 3's.   A dismal 18-48 on 2's (37.5%) ...we shot 18 more times than UCD........  most close range....... some unforced TO's  etc.   From my observation,  Money Miles game is not suited for Bus League Ref's........ saw two huge "academy award flops" in first half.... Jack was allowing his man...to maul him... finally started to fight back.   0-7 is not an ideal start.... closed the half with some poor shots ....  Looks like MM went with 5 ... most of the second half.... starters had 37, 33,33,35, & 36 minutes ... leaving only 26 for the bench and Max token appearance.  Small was 3-15  and Miles didn't even get to attempt  a FT.......... Yet, any two made plays...by Pacific.... AND ITS A WIN.

@Robertsisland,  go do your 'magic'..... Mt. West ref's...high altitude .... just the right recipe to bring home a big W.

What do you mean by "if they all return next year"? Are there rumors that players may transfer? I know Miles and Jack can be a grad transfer elsewhere next year

Well, I'm disappointed by the loss but Davis is just a better team right now.  The Tigers are still developing and haven't learned yet how to perform consistently on the road or win close games.  As we all know the difficult part is the next 4 games will be difficult so they'll have hang in there in the face of adversity.  I have Saturday Dec. 30th circled on my calendar.  The game against LMU at home will tell me a bunch about this team.  Go Tigers!!!
