There are a few examples of DII players transferring to DI...Davion Berry transferred from Cal State East Bay to Weber St. where he averaged 15pts his junior year and 19pts his senior year..he now is playing for the Raptors G league team.....Derrick White transferred from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs to the University of Colorado where he averaged 18 his senior year and was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round in 2017....Some of these guys grow a bit or fill out a bit or just get better...don't hold playing at the DII level against them...not all players are spotted at the high school level for various reasons....

Looking at Kemo's Scholly chart, there are 13 athletes on the roster.  Is there room for one more at this stage?

Regarding Tony:  I like his size and shooting range.  He could develop into a wing or a stretch 3-4 that every team covets but can so rarely find.

I saw a tweet saying he was going to visit on June 11th I believe....don't know about any offers but if he is visiting???

Some do step up.... but most are playing DII for a reason.    I hope he was well scouted and is the exception to the rule......

Thanks for providing the tweet wornouttiger!  In terms of the number of roster spots the numbers don't work out assuming everyone is getting a scholarship, the program being in the last year of scholarship restrictions, etc.  Hopefully Tony's recruitment just means the staff has found a way to stockpile talent and found a way to get some guys to pay their way as opposed to his recruitment signaling that someone we expect to be on the team next year is not actually going to be on the roster.
