Men's and Women's Water Polo updates

The men's schedule is out and it is a tough and challenging list of games.  Marque games include the home opener vs. Cal on Sept. 8th.  Cal again on Sept. 15th in the Davis tournament, at USC on Sept. 22nd, and the following Saturday vs. UCLA at home.  A tough road trip weekend in October at Pepperdine in a Golden Coast Conference match-up, and again the next day at USC. The MPSF tournament in early October, games are all to be determined.  And, of course, conference opponents vs. San Jose St., UCSB, and Long Beach St. at home and UC Irvine on the road.  Here is the schedule: www.pacifictigers.com/sports/m-wpolo/2018-19/schedule

Recruiting updates: Class of 2019 commitments- Matthew Hosmer, attacker, St. Mary's HS Stockton.  He is a Division 1 First Team All CIF San Joaquin Section, and a 2017-2018 Nisca/Speedo Boys Water Polo 2nd team All America as a junior.  Lewis Gale, goalkeeper from St. Mary's HS Stockton.  He is a Division 1 All CIF San Joaquin Second Team selection as a junior.

Also, on the Nisca/Speedo All America is First Team selection Calvin Behm(2018) attacker from Cathedral Prep in Erie, PA.  As well as, Sixth Team selection Cameron Cowen(2018) goalkeeper from Lyons Township HS LaGrange, IL.

Additional Division 1 All CIF San Joaquin Section honorees include tiger recruits, Joey McLeane(2018) goalkeeper Granite Bay HS-First Team, and, Aidan Jang(2018) attacker Rio Americano HS-Second Team.

Women's recruiting update:  the tigers signed Mia Garcia(2018) attacker from St. Mary's HS Stockton.  She is a Girls First Team Division 1 All CIF San Joaquin Section selection.  She joins fall signees Lucy Davis and Brianna Utas, both from Canada as new tigers.
