Governor Parkop and the NRL Bid team have stated the the new staduim would be built at the Hubert Murray Staduim.

Is this a good location ? considering transport and other logistics etc...

What about the Loyd Robson Oval ?

Is the area there at 4-Mile too small for an expansion ?

Can't they just improve that and turn it into a better mordern facility ?

What are your thoughts?????

I heard another story...that the Motu-Koitabu Assembly, the Central, Milne Bay, Western and Oro Provincial governments are in talks to convert this into a Rugby stadium for their proposed Papua Rugby Union Association. If this eventuates, it will be a great boost to Rugby in PNG! Leaguee stadium?? I dont think so!!! We dont want tribal fighting to spill into our peaceful villages...!

Kone is better. Big space and the outer smaller field should be used as a carpark. the stadium has more space for improvement so that wont be a problem. PRL is too cramp and has very little space for improvement.

The proposed Central City Development team should consider bidding for the Stadium to be built at Bautama. There's a nice stetch of field there with no major developments so far. This should spark commerce and trade around the vicinity ultimately having more businesses to operate there to be eventually developed into a city.

Tingting tasol.

About Rugby Stadium, it's a pity that Port Moresby's Premiere Rugby league ground Bava has not undergone any developments whatsoever. Where has all the huge sum of money pumped into the game from local sponsors and IRB gone. Lately it was reported that there's not even toilets there....lol. So Maski rely lo ol Central lo Kam rescueim u'lpela wantaim Stadium.

At least PRL is fairly decent and can host internationl matches. It's not a tribal warefare zone coz the brothers we play here do play in true sportsmanship. Pasim ul blo u......Tingting lo improve lo ol ranking arasait. Tingim...Sevens team blo mipla bagarapim nem stret. Even the 15s can't match the big power house nations.

At least league restores pride in some respect. So ul kilim u stret. Tingting gut na maski lo daunim point blo mipla ol league die hard.

Do you all (onetox, strokolop, etc, etc, etc) truly believe that the Hubert Muray Stadium will be used for this nonsense by these animals? You guys dont know the truth. The fact is this stadium is rumored to be earmarked for RUGBY in the coming years if a certain group of people have their way!
And while this is happening, PNGRFU is swimming in the dark!!!!!
Acanufa and Rapila should actually get off their backsides and literally go around the grounds developing this code...They maybe damn good pukpuk players, but administratively? a totally different ball game where some may consider them as U-16s.
