Many times, we would resort to Western world as superior and over above of all other cultures including our very own PNG cultures.....We face a lot of issues/problems today becoz we give a blind eye who we are and where we come from.....I have this blog and would think all PNGs should visit and start to realise who they are and accept our ways.....the blog is, http://melanesianway.blogspot.com/

thanks!

Rather than photo's of modern traditional dressing (which doesn't reflect the true traditional dressing) I would suggest opening a collection of old (tumbuna)stories from different areas. Our old people are dying away and they are taking the verbal histories with them. We should find a way of documenting those stories and preserving them for the future.

Your on the right track so keep going!

This is a free idea for preserving of PNG diversity and history and celebrating it with the global community while promoting it at the grassroots level sustainably. I have outlined how it might work.. If anyone think it has merit to fly as it is or in an augmented form - I am hoping someone with a social entrepreneurial spirit pilots it ...and harnesses social media and our powers (PNG ppl. globally) combined to make a difference....
