I'm glad to hear they're going to put it in the Columbian and not that back room of the Museum they refer to as their theater. The Columbian is a live theater with "The Wiz" on stage that weekend, but a screen set up in there will still be a big improvement over the museum's own space.

OMG! Entertainment has just announced a new DVD edition of "The Witches of Oz" mini-series to be released in the UK on October 3rd, 2011. The theme of this edition is Christmas apparently. Take a look at the cover on Amazon.co.uk, and you can pre-order it there as well.

Um...is this going to be like some of those Disney releases where you have to keep buying more and more copies of the same movie before you have the distinctive "edition?" That's just bad marketing. I do not need more than one copy of any movie.

Gawsh, you're so darn un-enthusiastic about this movie, aren't you, Chris?

Umm... Is the "Christmas Edition" any different from the previous DVD?

I asked Leigh, and he's not sure. He didn't seem to know that they were putting out another edition in the UK.
