I'm wondering which may be a more aggressive protocol, especially in helping possibly recruit more follicles when dealing with lead follicle sucking up all the goods.

My doctors fairly flexible and willing to read the research, so far, he's only done antagonist and regular micro dose lupron flare.

I like EPP and microdose lupron flare, but I prefer lower dose meds with it (75 menopur daily is what I used). It seems that for people who are poor responders, the higher dose meds don't make much of a difference and just hurt egg quality. Of course, everyone responds differently to each protocol. So, while I may prefer this protocol, it is certainly possible that one of the others will work better for you.

Hey hun, I can't believe I have just come on to see this post! I was JUST having a discussion with Braverman about CO-flare! I've never heard of CO-flare, can you tell me what it is??

I've heard of MDL, but Dr Sher is not keen on this for DOR women.

Dr Braverman recommends CO-flare for DOR and those women with endometriosis.

Re Dr Sher's AACP, I tried this cycle last month..... I live in Australia and consulted with Dr Sher but wasn't keen on the $52,000 cost so I read all his articles and with the help of me RE, we did it. I suspect I teiggered early, but I got 5 eggs, but only 1 fertilised....... That's never happened before.. We used IVF and not icsi.

Having said that, I had my best embryo on day 3, but then on day 4 it was only 10 cells so it slowed down and then on day 5 it was a partially compacting embryo.. We transferred it and I got pregnant but beta was very low and my RE did a D&C.. He was worried it was not viable...

Can you post your history and some stats and age? Then I can tell you my experience and what my local REs have recommended..

It does seem to be like that protocol, but with Menopur 75 mg once per day. I also took omnitrope, but no idea if it helped or not. I never responded well, but this is the only protocol that yielded a good quality egg after my FSH shot over 32. I would give you the specifics, but I don't remember the days, etc., as it has been too long. If you search my post or Erin's post from a few years ago (she did the same or similar protocol), I believe the specifics will be in there somewhere.
