For those who have FB there are 2 new Greens on show at OW page - the Weretiger which looks very nice and a Hydra, which is not my cup-of-tea. But have a look as they haven't been seen here yet.

The hydra is pretty old school in design, what don't you like about it?

ouch. I'm sorry you feel that way, it is very close to the concept art, and I never send anything out that I am not happy with or feel is lacking in quality.

Thanks for that - I can see how the heads are quite a departure from the MM drawing, but they were one of the things that drew me to the concept art when Richard showed it to me.

My comment was not meant as a put down to your work. I wasnt dissing the qualty, its just not my thing, not everyone is going to like every model you do. I am very fussy about what i think things should look like - other people will rave about it, i have no doubt.

Absolutely no offence taken and I completely understand your point of view. I don't tend to wander that far on the internet when looking for comments about what I make, but I do tend to lurk here as I genuinely care about Richard's enterprise (I even remember his first request for a sculptor to make the demon idol that lead to the development of Otherworld!)

Wow, I've got to check out the Otherworld FB page more often - that Wyvern totally slipped under the radar :o Awesome looking model. As far as the hydra goes people tend to go in two directions when imagining this creature - either a snake-like monster or a lizard/dinosaur type beast. I have both types in my collection - who knows maybe there are different breeds of hydra in different regions . . . I really do like the Otherworld hydra - it looks the business - and I really like the heads. Will definitely be picking that up at some point! :D The were-tiger is a beautiful model too - incredible detail on it - the only thing I'm not crazy about is the pseudo super hero 'I'm about to pounce' pose. Having said that I bet this model will look fantastic painted up :)

Well I like the Hydra - its very old school which is why it appeals to me! :)
I also like the were tiger and the wyvern!

(I sound like the Lidl or is it Aldi advert on British TV - "I like these but I also like these").

Can't wait for the skirmish rules to be delivered.....

Thanks for the pointer, Smithy (although why this didn't show up in my FB feed, I'm unsure...).

Richard advised that they were still planning to make the hydra available with multiple heads options in the future, too =)

And, John you did some very nice work there---it has a definite Harryhausen vibe :)
