Posting these up for a mate. He's just joined the forum so in sure he'll keep it updated on progress.

Take a mint low mileage jdm honda s2000

Cut the floor pan off

Weld on the body of a 2 door mk2 escort

And you have a mk2 honda escort

Car is currently away getting painted so hopefully be on the road for the new year. I'm sure Reuben will post more pics up and give more details as soon as he figures out how to use the forum. Lol :)

This is awesome - but what a shame to cut up an S2000. Would love to see a full photographic build report on this motor. :)

Another great mk2 escort build that's different from the norm. Look forward to seeing more pics and updates on it.

He has loads of pics and once he figures out how to upload them to this I'm sure he will. It is abit of a waste of a s2000 but it means he has a fast reliable mk2 escort that's modern. To build a mk2 escort the same spec would prob cost double. Look at the price of English axles and 2.8i Capri front struts etc nowadays. So with the s2000 he has a lsd, disc brakes all around, independent suspension, and it will always start and never need carbs etc set up every month and will be good on the petrol.
