TAKE THE STAGE!!!
To celebrate our upcoming 10th Anniversary, we want you to Take the Stage!!!

"Take the Stage!!!" is N64Forever.com’s newest collective gaming endeavor, following in the footsteps of our “N64 Game-Off!” and “Beats ‘Em All” competitions. This one is a little different in that we want members to play as many N64 titles as possible.

How to Play. Pop in an N64 title (from any region). Play and beat the first stage. Pop in a second N64 title. Play and beat the first stage. And so on and so forth. We want you to re-experience as many N64 games as possible and it does not matter which games anyone else chooses. Go on, give your beloved (and not so beloved) N64 titles a few minutes of your time here in 2016. And if one stage is not enough, well, no one says you can't just keep on playing!

Scoring. Every time you beat the first stage of an N64 game, post it here (with all you other ones, indicating your newest conquest(s)). You get 1 credit for beating the first stage and WE ALL get credit for one stage beaten. You only need to beat the stage; 100% completion is not necessary. As mentioned above, you can keep on playing, but you will only get credit for one stage per game. No photo proof necessary; you are all very honorable people.

When you beat a stage, please list the game, along with all of the other ones you have beaten. Be sure to indicate to the newly beaten game. And a running tally would be appreciated. EXAMPLE:

Bluedogrulez (3 stages beaten)
Star Wars Episode 1 Racer--won first race
Sin & Punishment--beat first stage
NFL Blitz 2001 (new)--beat NY Giants in Week #1

What constitutes a stage? It is the first discernible unit of the game one can complete. In Goldeneye 007, it would be the Dam level. In Super Mario 64, it would be the first mission, Big Bob-omb on the Summit, as opposed to the first course, Bob-omb Battlefield. In a sports game, it might be the first game of the season or first match of a tournament, or first race of a series. We do not want to be too rigid here. Remember, the goal is to give all your carts a turn and TO HAVE FUN!!

Achievements. Our collective endeavor will be judged against the following achievement levels:
640 stages: Bronze
800 stages: Silver
900 stages: Millennium Silver
1000 stages: Gold
1280 stages: TRU Gold
1500 stages: E3 Gold

Co-op Mode: Take the Stage !!! is also an opportunity for members to share N64 titles with friends, spouses and offspring. If you have a child, spouse or friend that wants to play along with you, great! Keep track of their progress along with yours and their accomplishments will be added to our grand total.

End Date. 1500 stages or January 31, 2017.

Can we do this?!? How fast can we get it done?!?

Now if you'll excuse me, I have my work cut out for me
Note to self: Don't forget the ones in the cabinet

Does playing remakes on Wii, Rare Replay etc count?

I just beat the first few levels on Perfect Dark on Perfect Agent...casual ?
Not bothered if not, I'll just go downstairs and play on the real console ?

Also, fantastic idea and initiative!
There had been hints you kids had been brewing up something special and this is a.great edition!

First five games from me are in the history books. I know we don't have to post pics, but I think I will anyway. They'll all be in spoiler tabs, so no worries about page clutter.

Super Mario 64's Big Bob-Omb On the Summit
[+] Spoiler
Rayman 2: The Great Escape's The Woods of Light
[+] Spoiler
Super Smash Bros.' 1P Game Vs. Link
[+] Spoiler
Duke Nukem 64's Hollywood Holocaust
[+] Spoiler
Paperboy's Alphaville
[+] Spoiler
I'll probably knock a few more out tomorrow. I can only imagine how many points we can all rack up here.

Sure. We want folks to use their consoles and N64 controllers as much as possible, but understand that some might have Sin & Punishment on the VC or Conker's as part of the Rare Replay collection.
