Thank you!

It is white, but it's nothing special. When I was younger (15-ish) I painted it white with flat white model paint and a brush. I've thought about taking it apart and doing a proper job, but then decided preserve it the way it is, flaws and all, to always remind me how passionate I was about the N64 and gaming in general back then.

First time poster to this place though I've been reading for a while. Just wanted to share my gaming area.
[+] Spoiler
That N64 is the very same I had for Christmas when I was a little kid, bundled with GoldenEye, which I still have as you can see.
I'm not too sure what year I got it as I was fairly young. My guess is Xmas 1997 as it was quite new out at the time (I live in the UK).
We all love our N64's here, so I'm sure you can understand when I say that thing is a massive part of my life.
Still going strong after all these years of heavy use.

I wouldn't say I'm a collector, but I have a soft spot for N64 as it was such a huge part of my growing up.
My gaming area used to look a lot different a few years back:
[+] Spoiler
I loved showing off my systems like that but the wiring for them all was a nightmare to say the least.
Plus I just didn't have time to play them all and they went collecting dust which I didn't like and couldn't have been good for them.
Most are boxed away now and I'll drag them out now and then for a quick blast.

Just would like to say that this forum is fantastic and I'm glad to be a part of it.
It's great to be around others that are passionate about N64. I hope I can participate a lot more on these forums.

TV at the end of my bed whilst I'm still living at home. Nothing too snazzy but it does the job...

So great to see all your fantastic setups!

I love the fact that there are still people out there who treasure their N64s. It's still my favourite console and has my favourite controller.

I especially love the Rare & Nintendo 1st party 3D platformers. I've just completed Conker again & am half way through Banjo Tooie. I'd never completed Tooie back in the day & have just reached the parts of the game that I haven't played yet so it's really enjoyable to be having a completely fresh and new experience of a game made by Rare in their prime!

Here's mine:

It comprises:

A very low use Sony 25" Trinitron (very hard to find one these days with such low hours - nice sharp image)
RGB modded NTSC & PAL N64's
Wii
Gamecube
Brand new N64 and Gamecube controllers (to guarantee they haven't been abused & have tight sticks)
All official leads, controllers and accessories.
All the games I love.
All tucked away in a cupboard for my wife's benefit.

I'm not a collector, I just want to play my favourite games with the best possible image quality.
I have backups of the components that will wear out (low-use CRT displays, new controllers, backup consoles) so I can play my N64 as I first remembered it when I'm old.
All the N64 controllers have ceramic grease applied from new, which extends their life considerably (guide: http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/nintendo-64-c ... ad-repair/).

I really hope more people post their setups on here :)
