I got Shadowgate 64 a few days ago, the US version. Not tried it yet... or Star Soldier. >_<

I liked Shadowgate okay. I wouldn't say it's as good as the NES one but it has its moments. And it's a point-and-click style of game which you don't see very much of. I say "point-and-click style" because you don't point and click, you walk and press A.

Star Soilder is a pretty standard shmup, nothing to go crazy over, but its decent to say the least, but a tad :pottymouth:

I think the graphics is what mainly disappointed me. I love the hand drawn graphics the best for shooters like this. And it was not up to the standards that has been set by other Hudson shooters, IMO. My first thoughts on my first play was that it was unfinished. I started liking it a little better coming back to it and trying it again. It sort-of grew on me, but still not a favorite. I pull it out occationally.

The first Japanese games I bought, it was directly from Japan, prices were much lower than what I used to see in Europe.
The others are mainly from France, bought on ebay.

The US games are 90% from Belgium (where I live), from a former collector. The H-K comes from Belgium too.
There were exceptions as it's traditionnaly a pain in the :donkey: to find import games in Belgium from this era, at affordable prices.
