Renown YouTuber Metal Jesus and prominent collector The Immortal John Hancock just released a video discussing the most expensive and rare N64 games. I found it to include some great facts/advice for new collectors, and enjoyed the casual presentation, and interesting thoughts about store stickers (shared by some here already!)

(For the record, I disagree with JH's assessment of Snowboard Kids 2 as a game, but agree 100% with MJ's opinion of Stunt Racer 64).

Surely Daikatana doesn't qualify for a rare n64 game?
Bought it years ago pre-owned from Game, and not too hard to find CIB on eBay or locally? Maybe thats just the PAL version though.

I saw the video yesterday. I did find it odd that JH wasn't into Snowboard Kids 2 as an n64 fan, but whatever floats his boat. MetalJesus is pretty casual into n64 games but he always seems to look on the positive side which is nice. I always like to see his reactions to anything n64.

I'm no expert but Daikatana seems in the same boat as Indiana Jones in terms of rarity. It has a reputation but if you really want it it's not too hard to find.

IIRC Daikatana was a Blockbuster exclusive in the US for a while, then saw a limited retail release after that.

Daikatana was overrated couple years ago. I had no trouble finding it in store CIB for 15$.

That is one thing that I liked about this video. John wasn't all smug like "oooh, look at whats I gots!!" He was more professorial: here a rare game that is cool, but here's one that stinks.

I agree. Legit guys.
John does it correctly and i respect that. He started a long time ago!
Even though i don't agree with buying guides and such, my problem is that i've seen too much from people less qualified on YouTube!

It's not just N64, it's everything.
I'll get over it one day. -_-

Ah, I misunderstood your point; you were saying enough with YT buying guides (I thought you meant MJ and John had way too many game, lol).

I don't watch much YouTube. I increased my usage for Switch news and was amazed at how poorly done so many videos were. I don't care about how "crazy" life has been since your last video or some irrelevant detail of your life that you somehow think is related to the topic, get to the point! Seriously, the over under had to be at least 2 mins before they would actually get to the substance. So I get your point ... a thousand (and now 1001) voices yelling emphatically out of your monitor speaker about what N64 games are great and which are rubbish. Enough indeed!
