Have you ever wanted to make your own Banjo Kazooie levels? Well, now you can do just that! Banjo's Backpack V1.0 has just been released today, hot off the press.

Unlike Super Mario 64 hacks, my understanding is that the modifcations made in this editor should work fine on real consoles (see below). Flash cart owners rejoice! :D

Wow that's amazing. BK is in my top 3 N64 games. I'd love to see videos of any levels any N64ever members make.

The reason Super Mario 64 modifications doesn't work on console: The console requires hardware addresses be aligned to even byte boundries (HWs) and RDRAM targets be aligned to DWs (8 byte bounds). (should be DWs, pretty sure not Ws)
The HLE emus only use 32bit, not 64bit address. That means FFFFFFFF80000000 is valid, but 0000000080000000 is not (unless you map it). These emus only read the bottom half, ignoring the top.
