Hi Ladies,

I don't usually post here but I read a lot and gain tons of knowledge!

Now I need an answer...

I am 10 days post retrieval and 7 days after a 3 day transfer.
My progesterone was tested today and it is 10ng/mL.

I am on P4 suppositories 2x a day and they increased it to 3x a day.

I know the level is low, but here are my questions:

1- Does it predict no pg?

2- How come my boobs are sooo sore if P4 is low?

3- Why is it low? I usually have good #'s (but never pg)

Thanks so much!

From what I remember my RE said the suppositories do not show up in the progesterone blood work. My memory may not be correct on that information. But if that is true then your progesterone level might be just fine.

I don't think low progesterone predicts no pregnancy.
I tend to think your boobs are sore because you are getting enough P4.

I never experienced sore boobs before until I recently took Endometrin 2 times per day.

I had a really high P4 a few days past an IUI (it was 54) and it turned out to be a BFN. I was also told that the suppositories do not cause the P4 number to be high via bloodwork.

Best wishes to you!

I've never been told that suppositories don't go into the blood stream. After you told me that, I googled it and you are right.
THANK YOU so much. I was really worried, now I'm back to hoping..!
