Here is where you can dicuss about TV shows. Whether its cartoon, live action, old school, 17+, or whatever.

I gave Orville a try last year. The first few episodes were funny, but then started to turn stale for my taste.

Right now I am watching Rick & Mordy, which I have been hearing is a pretty good show. And so far, it is a pretty good show. Some episodes have a few extremely funny and clever moments.

Only thing though is that the fanboys seem like a bunch of lunatics. Particularly with the whole Mcdonalds fiasco.

I enjoyed the Orvelle. The episodes are hit and miss but I am going into it as a Sci Fi franchise fan and not so much for the comedy aspect. I enjoy the characters and stories are often very much a perfidy of old school star trek.

Not a big fan of Rick and Mordy. Im looking forward to new seasons coming up soon: Fosters, Game of thrones, etc.

I can see that. Though the thing with Oreville is that its suppose to be a parody of Star Trek. It later focuses less on the humor and more of the seriousness.

Yeah Rick and Morty does have its share of vulgar moments. After all its not really made for kids. Its like Robot Chicken. There are cartoon shows I perfur though, like Gravity Falls(which I strongly recommend watching if you haven’t). My favorite Rick and Morty episode so far is the one that references inception.

Yes it dose seem to have more of a serious tone but I enjoy it none the less.

I do like Robot Chicken. I find it a bit hit and miss but it is good most of the time. I often watch it after reruns of Family Guy on adult swim.

interesting. not sure if I have that channel.

Did some digging and Hob Network was a re-brand of Discovery Kids which was a few years ago renamed Discovery family.

I feel Dan v.s. is slightly underrated. Great main character. Reminds me of characters like Yosamite Sam or Daffy. But its too bad all the other characters aren’t anything special. The Canada episode had the most interesting plot though.

That, and My Little Pony were two of the biggest hits on the hub that I can think of. Dan v.s. only lasted for a few seasons, but I think its because it was overshadowed by ponies. Not that its a bad thing though.

Thing is that preview doesn't seem like a kids show. looks more like something I would see on adult swim. Also likely doesn't help that not everyone gets the channel. I get it now but it's on a higher package we only have it to get movies.

Funny thing is Dan V.S. was originally gonna be a show for adults. Infact Family Guy was originally gonna be a kids show.

Heres an interesting summery about Dan V.S. I just found.

I also forgot about Littlest pet shop. It also seemed like a big hit for them. I did gave that show a try and watched a couple episodes. It was just ok. My Little Pony was alot better.

Adding to the off theme of a show is The original pilot of the Muppet Show was Muppet's Sex and Drugs. but the show was re-branded as a family/kids show.

Speaking of Puppet based series one of my favorites after the Muppet Show was DC Follies. it was basically a mix of the Muppet Show and Cheers. The show features Puppet version of celebrity and political people at a local Washington DC Bar.

They rebooted Mythbusters with new guys. Haven't watched and not sure if I want to. Food network did the same thing with Man vs Food.

I agree I don't see how it can be as good and I liked the 3 interns I guess you'd call them that helped them.
