The TOGO standup, Skyrider, is retiring from Canada's Wonderland on Labor Day, 2014.

The year of coaster closings. Dear God!

BTW, The park just released a video like SFNE did with Cyclone, but surprisingly, not as as good IMO.

Name one reason Iron Cyclone is a good idea other than its a world class coaster.
You can't.

I was reading up about this coaster and found that it's the oldest Togo coaster remaining from the Infamous company. The coaster uses a fare amount of space and should open up room for a number of options. Rumor are starting to pop up that we may see part or all of the land for water park. but Looking at the location I think only part woudl be appropriate for a water park expansion.

Yeah, I have ridden it during its last year not knowing it will be going. It was a mixed bag, but an overall ok ride. Right now I am anticipating an epic B&M looping coaster of a sort to be added at Canada’s Wonderland.

Right now they are adding a new flat ride every year, along with a new water park addition. Nothing wrong with that, anything new is good for the park as long as its worth while. Maybe the new coaster is on hold, and it will eventually be added to the park. The new rides are a good way to hold up the hype until the new coaster is added.

I know.

Well it looks like the new waterslide complex will be the same exact thing as SFNEs bonzi pipeline.

If you look at one of the pictures on this page, you will see a couple photos of the one at SFNE.

Nice!

Their new flat Soaring Timbers is not yet open, but should be testing soon.

Great POV.

The park is looking amazing in that preview video. Love the water feature they built for the Soaring Timbers ride.

The ride looks amazing and that lighting package i stunning. Though the ride experience seems to be a lot of flailing back and forth with very little flipping.

Small bad news for Canadas Wonderland, Soaring Timbers is off to a rocky start as it is currently shut down to fix a motor problem. Hopefully it will be fixed in about a week.
