Has network54 changed something on index pages lately..? (such as text or character coding etc..) cos I'm seeing strange characters even here I see Ripper with a question mark on a black diamond background instead of Ripper®

It's an encoding issue, which has now been fixed. There is still an issue with chatroom listings which we're investigating.

Also, you might want to check your index page settings (specifically the header, name, and description) and check to make sure they're correct. If not, you might need to go in and correct any encoding issues.

Everything was ok till about 2 weeks ago. Can't you just have the same encoding back?

On your index page, the forums appear normally, although the description and the chat listing don't look quite right. I tried all of the major browsers - IE6, IE8, Firefox, Safari and Chrome.

We haven't made any changes regarding encoding recently, at least until today. Have you updated or changed your browser or browser settings at all? It's possible that your browser might have guessed, or forced, an encoding to make it appear correctly. If you update your Index name and description (and your chatroom as well) everything should be okay. If you're still having issues, please let us know and we can investigate further.
