Was away last week down in Burnham on see. Found a junk shop so had to pop in. Well I managed to find a SEL in need of some TLC and a line shaft complete original. Also polishing buffers accessory. For th 3 items I managed to pick them up for £25.00
The engine is missing the piston assembly and pipe work. Never had one of these so not sure what I need to make it good again.
pics to follow. if any one has a piston assembly for sale please let me know. I will put a request in the wanted section later.

The SV is missing and the filler bung. need to find the thread sizes for these 2 parts any info ? I am guessing the DRG 1540 is the model number

Need to load pics from photobucket. it will not let me here as I will not join tapatalk or what ever its called .

That is a lot of parts to find! You could probably sell the burner on eBay and get all your money back

I think if I cant make the parts to get it working with my skills I would give up modelling. I just wondered if any one had some of the bits. I would not want to get another one to cannibalise. I just need good pic off the missing bits.
