Very sad to hear this, I never met David, on my trip to the UK, but will always have memories of him, through the Mamod SE3 shop display he sold me a few years ago. It's one of the most commented on pieces when I display at local shows. RIP David

Very sad news :( don’t know how I missed this thred. I own a couple of David’s engines, he was a very kind and nice guy had the pleasure of going to his place to see his collection and buy a couple of bits.
