Hello

renovating a Sirius and wondering if there is any description of the settings on the cylinders / valves.

Stuart themselves should be able to help if you give them a ring? Ive not done a sirius but i seem to remember my 180 being fairly easy- with the valve gear facing you, and the furthest away piston at TDC Then the scotch yoke pin should be a rotated about 90 degrees clockwise from vertical. If that sends it into reverse then it was 90 degrees anticlockwise. Once you have it running, then adjust it slightly one way or the other and see if it runs better. Trial and error....

Ive just had a quick google- there used to be a pdf called 'SM-Timing.pdf' on stuarts website. It seems to have disappeared, but an email to the nice chaps at ST will probably produce it for you.
