This rather handsome Peckett 'Scaldwell' has just been transferred from Amberley to the fledgling Southwold Railway

While on the topic of the Southwold line, I recently came across an article about a metre gauge engine Sharp Stewart supplied to the Guernica and Amorebieta Railway in Spain (w/no.3435 of 1888)

As you can see this engine is of exactly the same cloth as its Southwold counterparts, except for the 0-6-0 wheel arrangement rather than a 2-4-0

A clearer photo of Zugastieta showing her as an 0-6-0

And one of the original Southwold engines, showing the 2-4-0 wheel arrangement

Also highlighting that the former is somewhat larger than the latter, I think some of her charm was lost in the rebuild,  maybe its the stovepipe chimney that does it
