Hello All! Welcome to my table. I'm a little late getting setup, but as usual I do all of my filming for the event after the actual start time. Makes it feel even more hectic and is a ton of fun to play with so many toys in such a short time.

This is my 10th year on the forum (a couple weeks away to be exact) and as you all know the past few months have been a difficult change-over, but I am glad we still have a place to meet. I would like to dedicate my table to three members this year. The first one being Jim as I know STWWW is a very important event in his forum history and I haven't always participated in the event, but his words of encouragement helped me do abunch of filming at last year's event, and now is my turn to give him a little nudge... really hope to see you get a table going this year Jim. 😉 Second would have to be Petri (MrDuck). He is always taking time to make some of the best videos on the forum and is always nudging me to get some of my collection posted. Although I won't be posting the engines he would like to see, I will be posting quite a few accessories (some never seen on the forum), and if he's lucky, there might be a few cast iron Marklins  showing up on my table by the end of the weekend. 😉 And last, but not least! Les Marsh... He came back for a short while, but disappeared again all too quickly. He IS the man responsible for my addiction to steam toy accessories, particularly Doll and Fleischmann.

Anyway, I will start off with a very special piece, and one of my only good antique fair finds! The seller knew what he had, so it wasn't a steal, but still a great find at a fair price 😀 The only reference I can find is on the Ventix pages, stating it is model no. D-906, Doll Baumschaukel, which google translates to tree-swing, I would call it a teeter-totter, but I know most call it a Seesaw. The one on the Ventix pages also appears to be slightly earlier.

Don't forget to watch my videos in HD... 😉

Next up is my Slinky Tester from CrazyDoug, really lucky to have gotten one of these. Easily a favorite accessory that I could watch for hours... love the sound of a metal Slinky

I should also mention the gas burner was set to a very low flame with the regulator barely open. I did not realize how easily this would run off a small engine.

The worst part of collecting these steam toys and accessories has to be all the variations that one has to collect. Here's a couple Doll/Fleiscmann blacksmiths working in their sheds

Nice accessories Nick 👌

The slinky is one I'd like to build myself, as for the blacksmiths, a very nice compliment of workforce 😁
Jon

Now can someone tell me how to get a myford to regrow metal :)

Thank you Jon, they do look simple enough to build, but I knew I'd never get around to it... took me all this time to finally make a video of it! 😆
