Does the madness ever stop?

Well I was warned when I joined TUMAOSF !

(Testing out a new wide angle lens I just bought)

Love it Jim!! Your steam room is what every one of us dreams of!

The lens works well for showing a lot at once, but in picture 4 it makes it look like some long-boilered Jensens 😀

Thanks Nick :)

There's a way to fix wide angle lens distortion and correct it in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, but I couldn't get those boilers to not look so elongated. I think the correction must be more for landscapes for which this lens excels at. Just out of interest its a Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G ED AF-S

LOL Petri, lots of have escaped and are taking up residence in different parts of our home.

I should part with some that I have multiples of and get some different and unique to my collection engines, but its hard to part with even triples of engines.

I'm not sure if that's a sign of SEHD (Steam Engine Hoarding Disorder).
Cheers,
Jim

Get real Jim, not a thing, I have never seen anyone hoard steam engines... 😁

It's not a bad thing, Jim. I find myself annoyed with my temporary Star Wars craze as it takes place from my steam engines😄
There is certainly other things you can replace with steam😜

Jim, that is a fantastic room that any one of us would be justifiably proud to have created. But it is no where near full yet, I still see plenty of space available.

The ceiling is still virginal!   ;c)
Are we having fun yet?

Daniel, have you seen the ceiling in Jim's workshop? From what I remember it had hundreds of storage jars attached by their lids.

Maybe some steam boats hanging from the ceiling like airplanes in the hobby shops?

Thanks Daniel :)   Jenny says I need to leave the ceiling alone :)
