Thanks Olivier!
Today, I just needed to go, do something. In the workshop. 😉
This was the outcome......

It needed a really good clean/ degrease.
Also, the displacer piston was too close a fit, in the hot cap. So, I reduced it's diameter by .5mm.
As I say. "I'm a bit pleased, with that". 🙂
David.

Lovely as expected, David 🙂

( What gap did you let in the displacer's chamber ? )

A cool and original runner... 😁

Thanks Olvier.

Oohhh..... I dunno! I always work by rule of thumb. (If it looks right)......

I decided, the two diameters looked to be too close to each other. The air would flow more freely, with more clearance.

Probably.... 1 to 1.5mm, clearance, now.

Please pm me, a copy of the document.
Not my engine...... This is a non runner, at the moment. Mainly, just needing a good clean up, and oil.....

Young OLLY.
I thought it would be familiar to you!
Ta, Marra......
So will I ... 😇

I can't imagine any fail from you to start the engine ... 😁
If not send it to Phil for a couple of years tinkering, one day it'll run 😂😉
