A great start with the Peake engine and what a finale... The Markies and the Mrklin are some really nice engines.  :D

Thanks for the kind words Knut. I always feel a bit guilty that I don't take good enough care of my engines. I almost never polish them, instead hoping that a layer of oil will protect them. Compared to some members' gleaming collections, my engines look grubby in comparison. Anyway I'm really glad you enjoyed them. :)

:D KEvin, If you clean away the oil and smuss without the polish part, the oil resedue will indeed be protective, I use cotton sticks in huge numbers, and it work well.
