Dear Members.

As you will all know by now, the dreaded migration to our new provider has taken place. We fully understand the reluctance of our membership to accept the change, but it has happened and it is irreversible. There can be no further migration of the forum database. We must accept that and make the best of it.
The team and I as your admin, are deeply moved by the loyalty and support you have shown to what we achieved in the old format. It shows just how much you all care.
We are also aware that some members would like us to start a new forum from scratch, but that would not alter the fact that members would still have to cope with whatever format the new host would provide. The old MFF format is now obsolete, and we must accept the fact and move forward with the hand we’ve been dealt.
It’s very easy to forget that the main reasons for this forum’s success are still very much here. The fantastic membership, the friendly atmosphere, the concern we show to one another when the chips are down, and the genuine desire to help one another in furtherance of our hobby.
Our competitions, and unique shows will not be affected, and the team is working right now on making the visual experience of the EOTM even better than the old one.
So, I would like to make this plea to you all. Let’s get back to what we do best. Talking about toy and model steam. The format may have changed, but I can assure you that once we have come to terms with that, we’ll go from strength to strength.
The team are working hard behind the scenes, looking at various ways of making the format more user friendly, and just as we made the last format our own, we can do the same with this one.
I think everyone knows just how much this forum and its members mean to me, and to my team. I know we can make this work, and with your support, we’ll be even stronger and better than before.
