Wow    You guys are from all over the world. A lot said about a man and his toys and who dies with the most. As soon as I figure out how to upload pics I will.

Kevin:

The pictures are amazing.

It looks like you have most of the critical components.

As I said in the other thread you posted in, this is a very, very rare priceless engine.

There are a number of great restorers on this Forum (which doesn’t include me).

My advice is to go very slowly and ask lots of questions before doing anything to it.

In particular, don’t polish the boiler!!!! Maintain the blueing that is left on it at all costs.

Congratulations!

Charlie

It certainly looks like you have all the pieces so a rebuild will be straight forward. As said don't polish the boiler, sadly mine had been over polished and lost the original colour, hence it's polished look. Do you have the chimney and burner?

I will take some detailed photos of mine and pm you, a very exciting project!

A big thank you to everyone. This forum has been a great help and inspiration for me. I've started a topic over in the restorations if any of you would like to visit and see the progress. Slow but sure it's coming along.
