Sometimes you Need all the luck and youยดve got all the luck to get a new locomotive . I have no buffers for you to offer but this engine seems to be worth the effort it takes to hunt down new buffers and a new buffer beam . I hope the engine will runs as ggod as it will look like after a bit of TLC. Mick

cheers Joe

Looks well Mick, good price too! You haven't bought a Mamod in a while, I used to remember all your great bargain-sleuthing posts here ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have a quick question. I also got a bargain SL1 just before christmas locally, but just has a kind of double-nut with a groove for a wee metal circlip whichbis still there... am I just missing the brass dome, or is some bodgery afoot? ๐Ÿค”

EDIT: I knew it was needing repairs and I'm happy to hunt for and buy accessories, but upon lifting it of the shelf, its missing the back panel with the portholes from the cab- bugger ๐Ÿ˜…

It really is going to look like the Scottish Scrapyards own railway allright ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜…
All the best,

{ Ben }
