SAMBA Firelighter Gel

I tried this petroleum based fuel today and to my amazement it has performed the best.
This video was started on Coffins 80th lap. It ran a total of 130 laps of a 40.5ft track for 21min on 80ml of water. Just under 1 mile

This week has been eventfull after Gen3v8 has finished a high speed steampunk loco ready to race Coffin,i had to make some drastic changes to up her performance.So i started with a  rebore and larger piston, 40% taller gearing ,a wing and larger lubricator. Also a race number and now she is known as "Dragula". Track testing at home on my banked 8 foot dia track she is too fast,So next week on the club track she will get an open run,can't wait..

Can't wait to see it rip some wheelspins on the club track, it was fast in the earlier videos!

Loving the necessary downforce upgrade 👍😅
All the best,

{ Ben }

Hi Dave,
Regarding the fire lighting gel, where did you buy it ??.
Down here in Vic, it was available at Bunnings until a few months ago
and now they have replaced it with a diesel based gel,  which is OK
for lighting fires bur no good for fuel,  although I havn’t  tried it yet.

I just counted the from your early runs in post #6 to the times in post #18. You went from 1:28 down to 0:24 so basically you shaved 1 minute and 4 seconds off your lap time😅
