I found a quite big Märklin loco, gauge I. I'm not sure if it's all original or if there have been some modifications (apart from a name sign).
It's very well built with lots of details. Underneath is a lever which I guess is an automatic reverser?
The length of the loco is 36cm, and with the tender it's 54cm.
Any idea of the age and id of it? If someone has pictures of same or similar model it would be really appriciated. DSC_7781.JPG DSC_7782.JPG DSC_7784.JPG DSC_7785.JPG

What a find, congratulations!
I am not an expert regarding gauge I, so I hope some other member can supply some more information.

Magnificent engine!

Sorry, I can't help.

The only loco in my collection is a Weeden No. 1 in O Gauge.

It´s a CE 4021 from around 1929 . In my Reprint catalogue she has the 2-B-1  Wheel configuration. Yours is sadly missing a rear axle but she is worth the repair as she iis the second largest live steam engine built by Märklin around this time . Only the PLM Pacific, 2-C-1,   was larger. The spiky "Thing" on the underside is a break when the Train runs into a tracksection with a Signal showing the sign to stop During the 1920ies scale didn´t matter like it does today so the early Locos are very different sizewise although they had the same trackwidth.
