Well I can see some of the German design in itΒ  although the builder seems to have gone well off plan
The whole top section has been lifted and the top rotor section is now direct drive rather than the pulley system on the original = more load on a low powered engine
When I build them I always get the engine to run without the tail rotor and top rotor assy first this way you introduce the bind points and can tell whats causing problems
The original has 3mm shafts so they must be pretty thick probably for the bearings that were available
You need to measure the shaft centers and any reputable gear company should be able to advise you dont have to buy from them just get the info hpc gears come to mind
Personally I would run away
Sorry I cannotΒ  help any further Iv attached two pics of how it should be not a lot of help but at least you cansee what Im on about

Thanks Olly I see you also got 3 gears on yours but the rotor is driven by a band. This one is now all sorted and runs very well.

Yes Roly the owner found a small bag in a draw which contained the original gear and some other parts but no idea what the other parts are for 😱

I'l hold you to that, if it snows on Christmas day, then you have to do a video.......Now those members that live in a snowier climate, need a favour πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‹
