I'm a newbie on here but known James for some years, and just got my two boys some mamods for christmas, however they're lucky enough to have some big steam toys at home in the shed! we've 12 threshing machines, an 1860s portable and just arrived the basket case remains of a Burrell devonshire engine. as well as the 2 boys edward and arthur having a te and a roller now too...

Hi and welcome, by the looks of it some of your steam toys
are slightly larger than some of James, though size doesn't
matter (according to my wife😉)

Thanks for the welcome, from experience the big ones just cost more to run/ store and get about... theyre no much more fun, in fact the ancient portable is probably very similar to a mamod just bigger.
