Well for a while now I have been wanting to Up-Grade the tracks for the M18 (Hellcat)
At Last I can say I have done it.
Here is how they looked before:

And here is how they come now:

I feel this gives them a much better level of detail for you the model builder.

They are totally different. These look amazing Ken, especially the sprocket.

I mean if you "had" to.....
if you removed the thrid return roller, and changed the drive sproket.
Then you "might" get away with it.
[/IMG]

But you could "only" get away with it on the Hasegawa Chaffee.

If he didn't care about the look he might get away with it.
All he'd have to cut off the third return roller, and change the sprocket.
Your M18 is ready shoot me your address and I'll send one out to you.
It was you that I promised one to ....correct?

well since the Hasegawa kit has horrible post war tracks
using your M18 tracks would be quite a good start as the tracks would look the part
that would be quite a good conversion set to make after your
M30 (M3/75mm howitzer conversion for academy/ Italeri)
[/IMG]
& M5 & M8 (conversion from the Mirage M3 Stuart)
a M24 Chaffee Sprocket, Idler & tracks set

Cheers Elliott

P.S I think my M18 tracks were fine!

Hi Ken,
Like Dave I was lucky to get your kit a couple years back before you left for your service in Iraq. Will you be making these available for an upgrade separate of the kit and if so how much $ should I send you for them? I also like Elliott's thought of encouraging you to make an upgrade replacement track/running gear for the Hasegawa Chafee ,that would be neat.

Hello Ken, soon you will see my progress on your beautiful PzKfw III E with FLIVO mast.
You poor good resin, very easy to work with, not too brittle and not too soft!

Good thing that you tweek - up you old masters!!

Question : I saw on the "Henkofholland " site you also used to have early versions of the PzKfw IV (A - B) . Are you going to tweek them too? I think the running gears need updating...

Now if some masterbuilder like you would also dare doing the PzKfw II a and the PzKfw III A and D we (me) could finally make the complete German WW2 main battle tank range!!

Respect to you and regards, Alfred van Netburg
