Hi
I'm trying to work out what the writing written on the wall of the building in this photo says:

[/IMG]

This is of course from the First Chechen War, so the text could be Chechen, i'm not sure? I could of course just copy the text and paint it on the building i'm doing, but i'd like to get it correct if I can, so i'm not sure if any letters or words are out of the picture.

Any help much appreciated.

They are town names:
Saratov
Tula
Nefte-
kamsk

Neftekamsk is a town in Bashkorostan, the other two are well known Russian cities.

I assume soldiers put the names of their cities on the wall. All letters are there.

Thanks so much Steve!

I wonder about the reason for them being painted on the building, particularly in the red paint ( to imitate blood?) possibly its just harmless....?
