Hi David,

I couldn't get your link to work, try this one:

In any case - This is certainly a vehicle that I've been waiting to see kitted in plastic for a long time! Great news!!

Cheers,

Alex

Not a huge fan of the Maultier and I have the Italeri one and a SMA Ford and a Magirus conversion cab too from Schmidt. But I know that will be an in-demand kit. I assume it shares parts with their recent truck.

Will this kit be a Sdkfz 7 (8 ton) or SdKfz 8 (12 ton) chassis?

Considering what will be available plus the size of my stash, it's rather depressing to know that I'll never live long enough to build everything....

I see Revell are to produce a 1/32 He219 - yes, I know it's one of those weird wingy things but I still think this is a beautifully brutal looking machine.

Is it just me or am I missing the point?

It is nice to see these oesoteric vehicles in plastic but there were so many of the regular artillary movers and transport vehicles that make great models and diorama potential but we keep getting the prototypes and the one offs.

So far both 12t trucks have been the oddballs. Trumpeter have a very good 8 ton kit and have still to do the minority versions. They did both the standard transport and all the flak variants but none of the oddities.

Please can we see a few more of the basic vehicles and then do the funnies?

Rant over.
