Can anyone suggest a simple but effective way to simulate tank tracks in soft sand?

I want to pose a model with tracks in the sand behind it and a slightly 'submerged' look where it has stopped.

Thanks in anticipation.

Simply press the kit tracks into your groundwork while it is still soft. Let the groundwork set up a while and then press them in. It will leave the inpression of the track when it dries.

Hi,

As Gino said but if using Celluclay, Sculptamold etc, it's a good idea to put a piece of clear sandwich wrap in between tracks and (wet) groundwork (in most cases) prior to pressing the 'image' in.
