Guys,

I'm putting together the old Tamiya Su-122, but I'm wanting to make it look as if it's seen some action but is still soldiering on and I was curious as to whether the Su-122 was ever uparmoured, not so much the gun but more a case of additional plates on the front like some versions of the t-34 had or additional track all over it like a lot of the Germans did??

I also want to ask - if one of the external side or rear fuel tank got hit with a shell what's the likelihood of it catching fire?

Any thoughts ideas or suggestions apptreciated.

TIA

1) I have never seen any pics of one up-armoured.
2) The SU-122 Was not a "Front Line" vehicle. Was more of an "Indirect Fire" vehicle.
3) The extra tanks were for diesel, so unlikely to catch fire.

Thanks Kingston,

That's what I thought, but not being up with the Su-122, I thought it an idea to ask.

Thanks again
