Hi folks,

Please, have you anywhere seen any sign of existence of a Sturmgeschütz IV armed with 105mm howitzer? Even as a field modification?

i combed thur a couple of my stug books. i couldn't find a pic or plan for a stug iv 105mm. how ever i say go for!!! paint and weather the manlet and barrel a totally different camo. make it fun

Have not seen any pictures of one, but I have seen pictures of them with the block mantlet like the stug III's use. Anything is possible.

Sam had photos of two other vehicles with the bolted box mount. I was impressed. Maybe this was a factory necessity for a short. Period? John S.
