Anyone know what Unit this is? Looks like they have a mix of ausf.(D/E, F & G ?). I know I've seen this wooden protection (against Russian AT-rifles ?) on a Stug before. Just don't know where.

Grab taken from this: Ravitaillement sur le Front de L'est (so its in French)

...but your grabs are much cleaner, thanks!

MR Modellbau has a set to do the "plank armour" in 1/35.

Hi,

The Abt. 202 modified quite a lot of vehicles in the everlasting attempt to protect their vehicles against AT rifle fire, which was ordinary Joe´s bazooka. At the eastern front thousands of these were available, and brave Soviet soldiers managed to penetrate the StuG´s side armor at ranges of up to 40m.

Nice photos, I have seen this film. How great is the resolution of these screenshots? Please send me an E-Mail...

Your´s

Thomas
