Does anyone have an accurate description for the ammunition used in the M51 Skysweeper 75mm antiaircraft gun?

Did any other weapon system use this ammunition type?

The usual resources on-line do not provide anything and the few images found show the ammunition to be rather long.

I think it was specially designed to make the revolving magazines and autoloader work better.

I have a couple of things depicting these. Jeff, you need to get a post-war copy of TM 9-1900!

Which in turn led me to ask the question. When (or is that IF) Revell releases the old Renwal Skysweeper it would be nice to know if there was something in scale that could replace the very plain looking projectile shapes that are provided in the kit.

That discussion does provide a lot more than what I was able to dig up on my own.
