Hi all,
here are some pics of the next round by MK72 - Sd.Kfz.250. Got the first pics of the box art and first test shots of the sprues last week.

Yes, there will be 250 A (alte Art) and B (neue Art). First to come out is the 250 A (alte Art), 250 B will follow a little later.
And there will be parts for Sd.Kfz.250/1 and 250/10 in the box, as Peter Kuonen told me.

First sprue with the parts which are the same for both versions, body parts, MG-mounts, seats, steering wheel etc.

Even this is "only" a first test shot, there is no flash, details are crisp. Excellent quality.

For front wheels, Tracks etc. there is a part of the Demag sprue.

Next the sprues for the top armor, MG`s etc. 250 A on the left, B on the right.

At last the parts for the 3,7 cm Pak. The sprue contains the Pak parts and roof plates for both versions, 250A and B.

I will start a wip for both kits on my hphttp://gumsmith.jimdo.com/ in the next days. just klick the picture of the 250 A box art to get right to the wip.
I´m sorry for i have my site only in german, but i have still no time for doing the translations. But i will try to do a short version of the wip in english here on BSDG.

cheers oke

edit: As mentioned by Daniel i corrected naming of the types from "alte Art" /"neue Art" to "A" and "B".

cheers oke

Time to check how many I need and if my wallet can take it. And here I was hoping to take it easy for a while...

Finally! This is great news! I imagine I will be getting these by the tens. I hope we get to see a lot of the various variants of these too. The inclusion of the PaK is a good choice.

Also, here is hoping for a correct naming of the kits using the name Sd.Kfz. 250 Ausf. A and Ausf. B respectively. Neu and Alte are postwar names.

Hi Oke,

I made a comment a few posts ago about Dragon's fascination with 'paper panzers' and how it would be nice if they did something like the SdKfz 250 series. Then here is MK72 answering a lot of Brailler's prayers for the very vehicle and it does look excellent. I shall be purchasing several as I have lots of ideas for dioramas. Do you know if they will do other versions of this vehicle? Looking forward to your next post on this.

All the best,

Paul

Finaly a "normal" kit of both main variants : well done MK 72

Incredible this subject was so neglected for such a long time.

As viewed on the Henkofholland site, I finished my complete SdKfz 250 collection (version /1 to /12) in the beginning of the 90's. Off course Esci was the base... Now and then still buisy with some exotic field modifications.

I hope that many people will start making their own range and I offer any (pictorial) help needed .
For unvaluable basic reference : Spielberger and Panzertracts !!!

Still as long as someones happy

Simon..

P.S

For those that English isn't their first language es ist nur ein kleine Scherz
And I know the grammar is wrong but I can't be bothered changing it.

Found this at the Bundesarchiv. Is this a field mod? Is that shield attached to the roof?
