Hi guys,

Still trying to track down the Maultier set from Royal Model, set 091, none of the shops I've tried have stock so if you have one you're willing to part with please let me know.
Alternatively I have scratchbuilt a couple of roadwheels as I want them but am having trouble casting them successfully so if anyone can recommend someone who'd be willing to cast me a couple of sets for a sensible price & in a reasonable time frame then I'd be very grateful.

Thanks very much.

Darren.

Thanks Tony, I had spotted these but once you factor in postage to the UK they become rather expensive. Will keep them in mind as a last resort though.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Jorge,

Thanks for your kind offer, you're a true Gent. Our good friend Stefan M-H has sorted me out with a set, so a big Thanks to him too if he reads this.
Hope you're keeping well mate, hopefully catch up some time this year!

Take care,

Darren.

Hi

Darren you should be aware that in their infinite wisdom Royal Model made the road wheels thick enough to fit the original Italeri tracks, which if you buy aftermarket ones will prove to be too thick.

See this thread, althoughsadly pictures not longer show.

I can't see the link but I do recall this being discussed before, do you know if is too thick by very much?
Just wondering if they can be thinned from the back....
I have MK, Friul and Dragon links so hopefully I can cobble something together!!

Thanks again for the advice.

Darren.
