Hi all!
Can somebody tell me where this pic of the improvised refueller was taken: Africa, Russia or somewhere else?

TIA!

This is a Tiger from the 2nd Company, s.Pz. Abt. 501, Panzer Armee Afrika. Jean Restayn has a nice colour profile of Tiger 241 in his book Tiger I on the Western Front. Unlike Tigers from the 1st company Tiger 241 has its ID numbers on the rear turret box in addition to the side of the Turret. It is apparently carrying 20 Jerry Cans.

Looks to me that the back row of Jerry cans extends more than the first row. Could be more than twenty.

Also unique to the 2nd Kompanie. Restayn's colour profile indicates this is tank 241. Also confirmed on the Tiger In Focus website as 241.

If you're going to model this particular vehicle don't forget the double bosch lights and cut down fenders among other things. Maybe Mr. Byrden will chime in!
