Hello folks. I am one of the victims of Gordon Brown and I would like to repost my story here.

In December 2011 I bought from Gordon Brown some resin kits after having checked with him that they were in stock and that he was ready to ship them. In fact they were two 1/35 Kassbohrer trailers. I have paid via paypal 189GBP for two models. I have not received anything yet, in spite of the fact that he told me twice that the models were on the point to be shipped. He also did not answer to all my requests for information. After this, I started looking on the Web, and I discovered that this person is unfortunately known for receiving payment and only very rarely delivering the purchased goods. You can find some statement about his behavior in the following links:

So as far as I am concerned, this person has taken my money, he has not delivered anything and he has obviously lied when he told me that stuff was shipped / on the point of being shipped. I have paid via paypal, so there is no doubt that he got the money. I have sent a detailed account to paypal and I have also filed a fraud report with actionfraud.org.uk.

I have to say that I think I have been very naive. However, first I pride myself to treat people the way I would like to be treated, and second I have found so many honest people from whom I have bought stuff on internet that I did not imagine such a shameless behavior.

Frankly, Mr. Brown, can you still shave in the morning without blushing?

Best,

Best,
of hearing about Gordon Brown - enough already...take your gripe elsewhere we've listened to it long enough.

...perhaps he was just trying to warn others on a board he does not frequent. I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time. But geeze, cut him some slack. Yes, we are all tired of the of the posts. But there are people out of our community that do not have a clue about the previous problems we hardcore AMS'ers have had.

This guy lost $300 to GB because he didn't know his rep so I'm perfectly fine with Brown's name coming up on this website as much as possible so when those not in the know google Cromwell they get sent to ML and can see what others have seen

...then go to bed!

If you don't like the comments re: ol' Gordo/Cromwell Models, SKIP over the post/thread. It was I who suggested Federico post here, after he posted a query on my "Cromwell Models complaints" FB page. It was in the hope that Gordy would pop up from whatever rock he's currently hiding under and make good on this business transaction.

p.s. per ML guidelines, "A valid e-mail address must be provided. (This is not optional)"

What about "Full real names must be used at all times." Mister H?

Jerry, if you don't like it then don't read it. Have a little respect for other members. As for emails and Full Names, the rules are pretty clear gents. Ensure you comply with them.

I will be wiping any non compliant or abusive posts that I see. My sense of humour on this subject is a bit lacking so lay off the personal attacks and stick to facts. The original post is fine as in the past it seems the only course of redress.

...CHOSE to ignore my FULL NAME above the p.s. just to make a smart-arsed comment, right, Christophe & Gary?!
(nothing in the guidelines sayeth WHERE the full name is to be!)

So endeth the lesson....
