Hello,
do you know if the Obice da 149/12 (of WWI) was used during the invasion of Ethiopia by italian forces in 1935-36 ?
Thank you,
Aymeric

Aymeric,

To my knowledge only the 149/13 howitzer was used in this campaign - not the 149/12.

Aymeric,

As far as I know, the 149/12 howitzer was replaced in Italian service by the howitzer 149/13 before the start of WW II, I think that the last 80 or so models in service with the Italian artillery were supplied to Nationalist Spain during the late 30`s.
