Just enough knowledge to be dangerous, but not enough to help anyone.

I see what appears to be "Cheek Armor" on the front of the turret, Joel.

Hope they cover the whole range. I would punch myself unconscious for a good M60A2.

Cheers,

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but with only CAD drawings (not even box art) I don't think this is an imminent release. AFV Club have been known to have years between announcements and actual release (Duster anyone?). Having said that hopefully I am wrong and we will see the start of the M-60 & M-48 series be released in the first half of this year! I know sprue shots of some of the M-48 have been seen.

Since it has the early searchlight, side loading air filters and what appears to be the aluminum roadwheels, I'd say it's a M60A1 AOS. That puts it in the middle. Except for very early M60A1s, they all have "cheek armor".

It would certainly be nice to finally see an actual kit of the M728 instead of the resin alternatives.

I have yet to forgive Acadedmy for the multi-year tease in their annual catalog showing a black and white drawing of an M728 "to be released soon" and then it disappeared as if it was never there.
